In short: the EpiKeeper app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone. This website collects only what you choose to send through the feedback form.

The app

What EpiKeeper stores

The names, colors and allergy notes of the people you add, plus each pen’s product, dose, lot number, expiration date, location, notes and optional label photo. All of it is stored only on your device. We have no servers for app data and no way to see it.

Camera and photos

If you scan a label, EpiKeeper uses the camera, or a photo you pick, to read the lot number and expiration date. The text is recognized on your device with Apple’s Vision framework, and images are never uploaded. If you keep a label photo, it’s saved with that pen on your device, and you can remove it at any time.

Notifications

Expiration reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. No push server is involved.

Sharing

“Share Pen Summary” creates a text summary and passes it to the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes, and EpiKeeper never sends it anywhere on its own.

“Export to CSV” works the same way: it creates a spreadsheet file and opens a Mail draft or the share sheet. Nothing is sent until you send it, and only to the people or places you pick.

No tracking

No accounts, advertising, analytics or third-party SDKs.

Children

Parents often record their children’s information in EpiKeeper. That information stays on the parent’s device and is never collected by us.

Backups and deletion

Delete pens or people in the app, or delete the app to remove everything. If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, your device backup may include EpiKeeper’s data, under Apple’s terms.

This website

Feedback form. When you send feedback, we store what you entered: your topic, message, and optionally your name, email address, app version and iOS version. We use it only to reply to you and to improve EpiKeeper. We keep it until the issue is resolved, and for no more than 24 months, and we never sell or share it. To have your message deleted sooner, ask in a new message through the support form.

Spam protection. To limit abuse, we keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with each message. It can’t be turned back into your address. We use it only to rate-limit submissions and delete it after 30 days.

No cookies or analytics. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising. Like any website, our web server and our network provider (Cloudflare) may briefly keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
